Fantastic opportunity for a young accountant to join an investment companys fund accounting team. This client has an excellent track record in both the SA and international market. Great team and business with a good team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Drive daily fund pricing operations and yield calculations
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of client deposits
- Oversee portfolio updates including dividends new deals and settlements
- Execute critical close-of-day processes
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliations and prepare various financial reports
- Participate in strategic team projects
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BCom in Accounting or similar
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience within financial services
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
