Job Description
Our client a pioneering technology company specializing in agricultural solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Stellenbosch-based team. You will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance focusing on their market-leading livestock security and tracking products.
In this role you will develop robust backend systems and SQL Server create responsive frontend interfaces with AureliaJS and leverage AWS and Docker for scalable deployments. You will collaborate closely with software architects and junior developers mentoring and sharing knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions. The role demands a passion for writing clean efficient code and a commitment to meeting deadlines while solving complex technical challenges
This is a full-time on-site position in Stellenbosch offering a modern fast-paced and collaborative work environment. Skills & Experience:
8 years of experience as a full stack developer with expertise and SQL Server
Proficiency in frontend development using AureliaJS or similar JavaScript frameworks
Experience with AWS and Docker for cloud-based deployments
Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design testing and continuous delivery
Familiarity with React Native or mobile development is a plus.
Knowledge of Linux NodeJS Python or MongoDB is advantageous
Experience in DevOps practices is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to estimate tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration and mentoring
Passion for writing high-quality code and delivering innovative solutions
Qualification:
Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Certifications AWS or related technologies are advantageous but not required
