Job Description
A client leading in the engineering sector has a vacancy for a dynamic and hands-on Business Development Representative to be based at their Durban branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business in the Industrial Division as well as maintaining and raising the Companys profile in the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain develop and grow existing client base
- Identify explore and follow up on all opportunities within the market
- Actively pursue new business with clients
- Prepare and present quarterly business development plans
- Compile maintain and update marketing- and sales strategy plans
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer comments
- Source and secure tenders
- Assist with the compilation and submission of quotations/tenders
- Proven marketing track record in an industrial/engineering-related field
- A relevant B-qualification in marketing and/or mechanical engineering will be an advantage
- Highly motivated ambitious positive and driven to succeed
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative who is innovative and a creative thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at an executive level
- Capable of working independently and within a team
- Candidate must be willing to travel both locally & international
- Negotiating and influencing skills
