Job Description

EXPERIENCE: 6-8 Years related working experience


COMMENCEMENT: 01 August 2025

Qualifications / Experience Required
  • BSc Computer Science or equivalent qualification

  • Over 5 years experience in BI data visualization & database systems

  • Relevant IT qualifications and strong domain knowledge

Essential Skills Requirements
  • Extensive know-how in data analysis data visualization & report creation

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools preferably AWS QuickSight

  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts

  • Experience with ETL workflows & data transformation

  • UX design experience for reporting solutions

  • At least 3 years experience in AWS or Azure cloud environments

  • Experience in task automation & Python development

  • Experience developing dashboards health monitors & alerts

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident change problem management)

  • Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills Requirements
  • Experience with Agile working methods (e.g. Scrum)

  • Experience working in an enterprise environment

  • Experience with RESTful APIs

  • Familiarity with microservices Azure Serverless Functions AWS Lambda Docker container architectures

  • Proficiency with Kafka or other streaming/messaging platforms (e.g. MQTT)

  • Experience with Dynatrace Splunk Grafana Prometheus

  • Experience designing and optimizing user interfaces and workflows for database systems

  • Familiarity with data formats such as YAML JSON

  • Understanding of AI technologies and their application

  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behavior in a distributed team

  • Strong ability to understand business needs and deliver solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Willingness to engage with customers including managing language barriers

  • Ability to work independently and in teams delivering quality results on time

  • Self-starter with strong work ethics

  • Flexibility to take on different team tasks

  • Willingness and ability to coach/train colleagues and users

  • Willingness to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time

Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop AI-driven monitoring dashboarding and alerting solutions for AWS & Azure health status across infrastructure types
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies

  • Contribute to refinement of user stories

  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members

  • Proactively share knowledge within and across teams

  • Propose and develop prototypes and improvements

  • Provide support and maintenance for existing solutions (DevOps)

  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions for the Groups global Cloud community

  • Create actionable insights from cloud infrastructure data

  • Set up new reporting solutions and migrate existing ones to new platforms

  • Design data flows between existing and new solutions

  • Manage problems changes and incidents related to cloud environments

  • Continuously improve reporting processes leveraging new tech to enhance visibility and data-driven IT network operations

  • Develop test deploy maintain and support software applications

  • Provide 24/7 standby support for cloud incidents (typically one week per month rotating schedule)
