Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented Template Developer with strong scripting skills and a passion for automation and document generation

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years related Experience
COMMENCEMENT: 01 August 2025

Degree or diploma in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
-
Practical experience or internships in IT or software development
-
Familiarity with programming and scripting concepts (academic or personal projects)
-
Experience with document template development solutions
-
Familiarity with the IT application SDLC process
-
Proficiency in XML and XPath
-
Basic programming experience in Perl scripting
-
Basic Unix scripting experience
-
Ability to interpret and create user requirement specifications
-
Experience working with Linux servers
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Effective communication skills
-
Team-oriented with collaborative working style
-
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
-
Exposure to Exstream software or similar document generation tools
-
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
-
Familiarity with Git or version control systems
-
Basic knowledge of SQL and database management
-
Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash
-
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. BMC Remedy ServiceNow)
-
Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
-
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies
-
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
-
Troubleshooting and issue resolution expertise
-
Assist in developing and maintaining document templates using Exstream software
-
Collaborate with team members to gather and understand user requirements
-
Write and test XML XPath and Perl scripts for customizing templates
-
Support Unix scripting efforts to automate internal workflows and processes
-
Manage template deployment and operations on Linux servers
-
Participate in all stages of the IT application SDLC including testing and rollout
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document generation and scripting
-
Maintain accurate documentation of templates code and related processes
-
Provide user support and stakeholder assistance as required
-
Stay up to date with best practices in template development and scripting tools
-
Share progress and contribute ideas during team meetings
-
Continuously develop personal knowledge and technical skills
