Our client based in Midrand is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis.
The Employee Relations Specialist will support the organizations HR functions focusing on employee relations compliance with labour laws and the implementation people processes according to the Labour Relations Act. This role will also support in the drafting and reviewing of the 5-year EE plan according to the Amendments of the Employment Equity Act. This role will also support the HR Business Partners in the operational HR Management functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Employee Relations or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Employee Relations HR generalist roles or HR business partnering with a specific focus on ER processes.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation particularly the Labour Relations Act and retrenchment processes.
- Experience with Unions particularly militant unions would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Experience in the submission of an EE Plan would be advantageous.
