Employee Relations Manager Fixed Term Contract Up to 47000 CIPD Level 7

Hybrid Working


Our client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead a specialist team and provide expert guidance to managers across the organisation. This is a fixed term contract offering the chance to play a key role in shaping policy ensuring compliance and delivering positive outcomes for both staff and the wider service. With a strong focus on early interventions and constructive resolutions this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced HR environment and is passionate about driving fair and consistent employee relations practices.

What Were Looking For

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent degree/qualification).
  • Proven experience in employee relations and HR case management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and policy development.
  • Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and complex cases with professionalism and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of employee relations specialists ensuring effective advice and case management.
  • Provide expert guidance to managers on complex employee relations issues including disciplinary grievance and absence cases.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law internal policies and best practice standards.
  • Promote early intervention and positive resolutions to workplace challenges.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to strategic HR initiatives and foster strong collaborative working relationships across the organisation.
