A leading public sector organisation is on the lookout for a Principal Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and aligning business and technology strategies. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a bold modernisation programme designed to build a smarter more responsive organisation admired for its integrity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Acting as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology leaders
- Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture standards roadmaps and frameworks
- Identifying emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on business strategy
- Leading cross-functional teams in the design of integrated solutions aligned with business goals
- Promoting best practices in enterprise architecture governance and stakeholder engagement
What Were Looking For:
- A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in IT Informatics Computer Science Engineering or Finance with 10 years experience in IT including 3-4 years at a specialist level; or
- A relevant bachelors degree (NQF 7) with 15 years experience in IT including senior specialist exposure
- At least 10 years in enterprise architecture roles
- TOGAF 9 certification (required). Microsoft or CISCO certification is essential
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and tools. IBM technology knowledge is a plus
- Strong leadership analytical thinking stakeholder management and communication skills
