An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take the reins of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy for a well-established values-driven organisation. This is a leadership role for a forward-thinking professional with deep expertise in information security risk management and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will guide executive teams on cybersecurity strategy oversee secure technology adoption and champion a culture of cyber awareness. With direct influence over high-level decision-making and operational execution the CISO will safeguard critical systems and data while enabling digital transformation.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT Business Administration or related field
- 7 years experience in cybersecurity and IT leadership with at least 5 years in a senior security role
- Professional certifications such as CISSP CISM CISA or CCSP
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 NIST PCI-DSS GDPR POPIA and related frameworks
- Strong background in cloud security data protection and incident response
- Experience working within financial services or insurance sectors is advantageous
- Strategic leadership with strong communication coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
