Job Description
Introduction
Are you a hands-on detail-driven leader who thrives in the fast-paced world of e-commerce Were looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to run the operational engine room of our digital businessfrom dark store management to flawless product listing and partner coordination.
In this critical role youll manage national fulfilment drive platform readiness across Shopify Takealot and Amazon and lead a small team to deliver 100% product availability and 99% fulfilment accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimise dark store fulfilment operations for national delivery
- Ensure real-time inventory accuracy across all digital platforms
- Maintain seamless stock updates and platform alignment
- Lead product onboarding listing and content updates across Shopify Takealot Amazon etc.
- Ensure listings are accurate visually engaging and platform-compliant
- Manage a Content Specialist and Admin Assistant to ensure quality and efficiency
- Act as the operational contact for: Digital marketing agency & Marketplace platform reps (Shopify Takealot Amazon)
- Align on promotions new product launches and campaign execution
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team covering fulfilment content and admin
- Drive performance through accountability coaching and team engagement
Requirements
- 5 years in ecommerce operations digital retail or omnichannel fulfilment
- Experience managing Takealot Amazon and Shopify platforms
- Strong operational leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of inventory management listing workflows and content accuracy
- Passion for customer experience and delivering operational excellence
