Job Description
Were Hiring: Financial Accountant
Location: Irene Gauteng
Start Date: ASAP
Our client a well-established business based in Irene Gauteng is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional ready to take on a senior-level role within a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Education:- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Tertiary Qualification in Accounting Sciences
- Professional Accreditation with SAIPA SAICA or CIMA
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Accounting
- At least 2 years in a Senior Accounting Role
- Experience in the retail industry will be a strong advantage
- Strong working knowledge of financial computer systems
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 especially MS Excel (Advanced level)
- SAGE Evolution and Meat Matrix experience advantageous
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and statistical abilities
- Able to manage and lead a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines and work under pressure independently or within a team
