Job Description

Hire Resolves Client a reputable mining company in Gauteng is currently looking for an experienced Senior Specialist Resource Geology to join their mining team.

:
  • BSc Honours in Geology or related postgraduate qualification in the Mineral Resource Management discipline
  • Registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP)
  • At least 5 years geological modelling and mineral resource estimation experience in Geology / Mineral Resource Management
  • Extensive knowledge in database management and grade estimation techniques and be proficient in the use of geological modelling and geostatistical software such as Leapfrog Datamine and Supervisor
  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicants suitability for employment
