Job Description
We are looking for a Domestic Underwriter to join a dynamic and growing underwriting team. If youre a fully qualified professional with experience in commercial underwriting looking to transition into or expand within personal lines this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and manage personal lines risks (homeowners household contents motor).
- Assess risk and issue quotations and policies in line with company guidelines.
- Support brokers and provide clear prompt underwriting advice.
- Ensure timely and accurate renewals and amendments.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (RE5 FAIS-compliant).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial underwriting.
- Strong communication administrative and service delivery skills.
