Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Clerk responsible for the receipt packing or despatch of goods or containers from a store warehouse or storage place. Supervise and check the work of a checker grade I or II or a general worker and utilize information and data stored manually or electronically on a computer system. Responsible for maintaining effective control of the preparation of company
products into vehicle loading bays within laid down policies and procedures. Verifies quantity quality labelling and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for distribution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Briefing & Debriefing - Monitor Deliveries and provide feedback Driver / vehicle inspections & legal compliance checks Calculate daily kilometers & fuel consumptionGeneral admin duties & reports Record drivers working hours / pay hours Fuel capture on Fuel Manager system POD Control & hand over Maintain good relationship with Customers
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
Experience in a similar role: Up to 6 months experience
