Essence of the job:
Our client is currently seeking to secure the services of a Project Manager in our Cape Town office. The Project Managers primary responsibility is to manage the phases activities and tasks associated with projects allocated to him/her within specified time cost and quality constraints to deliver the required project outcome and achieve Client satisfaction. You will manage the Project Team and other resources assigned to the projects allocated to you on a project level and report directly to the Project Engineering Manager.
Qualification:
A BTech / . / . degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Project Management qualification.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge base and experience within the Mining Oil and Gas Mineral Processing or Heavy Engineering sectors.
10-12 years of relevant project management experience.
Proven verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal.
Willingness to work demanding schedule and flexible hours including after hours in order to meet required schedule.
Willingness to travel.
Operate as part of a team.
Disciplined work with limited supervision.
Own transport.
