RPO Recruitments client is actively seeking analytical Data Analyst (Inventory Analytics) to join their team in Wadeville Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to inventory optimization demand forecasting and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced supply chain environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track inventory levels stock movements and demand fluctuations
- Collaborate with procurement warehouse and planning teams to ensure optimal stock availability
- Assist in forecasting demand and aligning stock levels to meet operational requirements
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to inventory turnover stock accuracy and order fulfilment
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and reconciliation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Data Analytics Statistics or a related field
- Proven experience in a data analyst role with a focus on inventory or supply chain analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and forecasting methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear actionable format
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
