Job Description
Hire Resolves client a respected multidisciplinary construction and projectmanagement consultancy based in Richards Bay is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a fixed twoyear contract.
Responsibilities
Deliver full lifecycle cost management on civil and building projects from feasibility through final account.
Prepare and monitor project budgets cashflow forecasts valuations and progress claims.
Administer JBCC / NEC / FIDIC contracts including changecontrol and claims management.
Produce accurate bills of quantities tender documentation and cost reports using CCSCandy/BuildSmart (or similar).
Liaise with project managers engineers and site teams to ensure commercial integrity and ontime delivery.
Conduct regular site visits in the Richards Bay/KZN region to verify measurements and progress.
Requirements
BTech in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management (or equivalent).
5years combined Quantity Surveying and ProjectManagement experience.
Sound knowledge of South African construction contracts and procurement routes.
Advanced MSExcel skills; QS software proficiency advantageous.
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel locally.
Availability: immediate or within one week.
