Job Description

Hire Resolves client a respected multidisciplinary construction and projectmanagement consultancy based in Richards Bay is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a fixed twoyear contract.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full lifecycle cost management on civil and building projects from feasibility through final account.

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets cashflow forecasts valuations and progress claims.

  • Administer JBCC / NEC / FIDIC contracts including changecontrol and claims management.

  • Produce accurate bills of quantities tender documentation and cost reports using CCSCandy/BuildSmart (or similar).

  • Liaise with project managers engineers and site teams to ensure commercial integrity and ontime delivery.

  • Conduct regular site visits in the Richards Bay/KZN region to verify measurements and progress.

Requirements

  • BTech in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management (or equivalent).

  • 5years combined Quantity Surveying and ProjectManagement experience.

  • Sound knowledge of South African construction contracts and procurement routes.

  • Advanced MSExcel skills; QS software proficiency advantageous.

  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel locally.

  • Availability: immediate or within one week.
