Job Description
Location: Midrand South Africa
Salary: R 500 000 R 600 000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage contracts to maximise ROI and service quality.
- Lead tender processes and ensure legal compliance.
- Drive e-tender and catalogue system effectiveness.
- Identify savings opportunities and report to the CEO and Finance.
- Engage with stakeholders suppliers and advisory committees.
- Supervise one Administrator and support regional procurement activities.
Dimensions:
- Financial:Ensure cost-effective systems track and report savings.
- Non-Financial:Manage staff regional activities and user groups.
Major Challenges:
- Deliver measurable ROI and cost savings.
- Develop new contracts aligned with member needs.
- Manage high workload demanding stakeholders and frequent travel.
Requirements:
- Education:Bachelors in Commerce Business Management or equivalent.
- Experience:5 years in corporate procurement.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation sourcing and supplier evaluation skills;
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks and e-procurement systems;
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving abilities; and
- Advanced Office 365 proficiency.
