Overview:
ABC Imaging is seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for directing equipment procurement and logistics managing a team and driving cost savings supplier performance and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the purchasing team; set strategy and monitor performance.
Define and execute procurement strategy for equipment maintenance and services.
Manage supplier governance risk and performance; expand and qualify vendors.
Oversee sourcing activities (RFQs/RFPs) negotiations and contract management.
Approve POs/requisitions; ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
Manage budget forecast demand and track cost savings and inventory.
Ensure on-time delivery and conformance to specs; expedite as needed.
Resolve complex POinvoice issues; coordinate with Accounts Payable/Finance.
Drive process improvements and procurement analytics; collaborate cross-functionally.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree; 5 years of progressive purchasing experience; 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong equipment purchasing and logistics background; manufacturing/printing equipment preferred.
Leadership negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/purchasing analytics experience a plus.
