Every number tells a story at TLC Worldwide and as Senior Accountant youll help shape the narrative. Reporting to the Finance Director in Johannesburg youll dive into forecasting budget creation and supplier management while partnering with HR and Operations to sharpen financial outcomes.
This hands-on role goes beyond the numbers. Youll lead audits refine reporting and build models that turn complexity into clarity. With a focus on cost drivers and procurement efficiency youll challenge the norm and deliver smarter decisions that drive growth.
What youll be doing:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop annual budgets forecasts and monthly cash flow projections
- Analyse performance identify cost drivers and recommend cost-saving strategies
- Provide financial guidance for key business decisions and projects
2. S&OP & Cash Management
- Align with Sales & Operations Planning to enhance forecasting and cost visibility
- Manage client invoicing and ensure timely revenue recognition
- Monitor cash flow and coordinate supplier payments in line with business priorities
3. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Enhance procurement payment and reporting processes for efficiency
- Implement business-aligned reporting frameworks
- Deliver structured analysis for stakeholder reviews
4. Month-End Close & Reporting
- Lead the month-end close process with accurate journals and adjustments
- Review key balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure integrity and completeness of financial reporting
5. Compliance Audit & Tax
- Uphold internal controls and financial policies
- Prepare audit schedules and support audit processes
- Manage VAT tax returns and statutory filings
Who were looking for:
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Part-qualified ACCA CIMA CA(SA) or equivalent with a commitment to qualification completion
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Nav or Dynamics 365 (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Experience in public practice or SME environments ideally within marketing advertising or PR
- Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence financial outcomes
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-changing environment
