Job Summary
A leading and forward-thinking fintech company is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg company operates across insurance telecommunications and digital payments driving accessibility and inclusion through technology. Youll play a central role in crafting intelligent user-centered systems and process enhancements empowering communities across Africa.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and document current business systems and operational processes.
Facilitate discovery workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders.
Design process flows user journeys BPMN diagrams and UML models.
Write functional specs user stories and clear documentation.
Collaborate with developers QA and UAT teams to validate features.
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices.
Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable creative solutions.
Provide training and ongoing support to end users and internal teams.
Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or similar.
4 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong problem-solving documentation and communication skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional product teams.
Proficiency in business analysis tools BPMN/UML user journey design and functional test planning.
Knowledge of ERP systems and fintech platforms (advantageous).
Understanding of APIs system integration and software architecture.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization principles.
