About the Role
As a Service Engineer you ll be at the frontline of delivering high-quality technical support and services across power generation and utility facilities. Youll be involved in:
- Influencing maintenance strategies and execution
- Conducting Failure Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Commissioning and troubleshooting complex equipment and systems
- Working in dynamic operational environments on project-based assignments

Requirements
- 18 months to 4 years of relevant experience in:
- Power generation
- Utilities or manufacturing operations
- Engineering project delivery
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment mechanical and/or electrical systems and general industrial operations
- Exposure to field service commissioning maintenance or plant operations
- A proactive safety-first mindset and a passion for problem-solving
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or BEng mandatory)

Requirements: BEng or BSc Degree or equivalent in electrical / mechanical engineering Professionally registered engineer certification will be advantageous. >= 15 years of rotating equipment industry experience with a track record in solving complex problems on various types of rotating equipment sets such as steam turbines, gas turbines, pumps, compressors & reciprocating engines. Proven track record in effective problem-solving capability within the various industries through project references Extensive experience in rotor dynamics and vibrations. Experienced in rotating equipment design and engineering analysis (CAD, FEA etc.) Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, planning and reporting. MS Office / Project / Google Skills & Knowledge: Design Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Engineering and Technology Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Mechanical Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Administrative Knowledge of administrative and drawing office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology. Building and Construction Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
