Job Description
Lehigh University a prestigious institution renowned for academic excellence is seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Director to join its esteemed Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team. This Exempt Staff Full-time position offers an unparalleled opportunity to shape the future of marketing strategies within a collaborative and supportive environment.

This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46870 - $56250 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
As the Assistant Director you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the DAR Marketing and Communications Team. With your exceptional attention to detail and people-savvy approach you will spearhead a wide range of marketing projects from strategy development to project management across content and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive marketing strategy at planning meetings
Understand DAR marketing channels team capacity and delivery timelines as well as industry marketing standards and creative ideation
Share marketing projects across teams and track progress through implementation
Liaison with business leads throughout project lifecycle
Draft language for marketing tactic
Serve as liaison for deliverables between MarCom and requestors
Assist team with project support as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Five to eight years of related work experience
Experience in advertising communications marketing or PR preferably at an educational institution
Experience in a communications field with project management experience
Strong writing and editing skills
Familiarity with smartsheet airtable workfront imodules and drupal
Outgoing and engaging personality a sense of humor strong work ethic and the desire and ability to take the initiative in exploring new strategies DAR should consider
Willingness to meet the varying need states of a layered organization
Excellent interpersonal/team skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
