Are you a commercially-minded analyst who thrives on transforming data into strategy
A leading organisation in the fertiliser sector is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support and streamline its Marketing operations in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a driven individual who blends strong financial acumen with a knack for systems and process improvement.
Key Duties:
- Manage a small Marketing admin team
- Oversee commission processes and pricing controls
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support business decisions
- Collaborate with Costing to ensure data accuracy and appropriate cost allocation
- Drive process improvements and support policy development
- Assist with budget preparation and regional financial coordination
- Support the migration from AX to Office D365 including training and setup
- Represent the regional team in management meetings and site visits
- Conduct stock counts and provide on-site financial support as needed
Key Requirements:
- Financial or Costing qualification (IT experience advantageous)
- 810 years experience in a similar analytical or financial support role
- Strong understanding of business operations and financial modelling
- Experience working closely with IT teams on reporting and systems
- Demonstrated team management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail problem-solving ability and commercial insight
- Willingness to visit operational sites and understand manufacturing processes
