The majority of our employees work from our modern head office in Dalbeattie South West Scotland and we also have an office on the outskirts of Glasgow.
About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Part-Time Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic marketing environment. You will support the marketing manager with a variety of tasks helping to execute our strategy and maintain our digital presence
The role is based in our Dalbeattie office with standard operating hours of Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. This is a part-time position (1620 hours per week) with exact working hours to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate. The salary for the role is 26208 per annum (pro rata).
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Social Media Scheduling: Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms.
- Content & Website Administration: Assist with uploading blog posts web banners and other content to our website.
- Marketing Planning: Help manage and maintain the marketing content planner to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- Campaign Support: Provide administrative and creative support for email marketing campaigns including drafting content maintaining mailing lists and scheduling emails.
- Marketing Coordination: Assist with day-to-day coordination to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing department.
Full training and guidance will be provided to ensure the successful candidate can carry out all aspects of the role confidently.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with design software would be advantageous.
- A keen interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
