Our client is looking for a Master Data Coordinator to create maintain and ensure the accuracy of master data records by applying data governance standards supporting business operations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical to enabling data consistency across systems and ensuring reliable information for operational and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain master data records in SAP ensuring completeness accuracy and adherence to data governance standards.
Validate and process change/input documents with supporting documentation ensuring compliance with defined data guidelines and turnaround times.
Perform quality checks on master data to ensure the integrity and reliability of business information.
Manage and resolve master data queries logged via ServiceNow (SNOW) or other service platforms within agreed SLAs.
Enforce master data controls and governance principles in line with company standards.
Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales Finance Supply Chain) to understand master data requirements and ensure effective collaboration.
Provide support and guidance to users and teams on master data processes including informal training and troubleshooting.
Contribute to data-related projects and process improvement initiatives ensuring scalability and long-term sustainability.
Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 6 Diploma in Accounting Finance or Credit Management
Minimum of 3 years SAP master data experience
Background in data capturing administration or similar roles
Preferred Experience
Qualification in Information Systems or Data Management
Basic SAPICS or supply chain-related training
Exposure to data governance frameworks and enterprise data management
Experience working in cross-functional teams or on data-related projects
