The Position
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Technical BI Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering client support and developing business intelligence solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical enquiries coordinates on-site support and owns accountability of the development of software tools and client interfaces. Design automated reports and conduct technical environment analysis to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Implement automated reporting tools and software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data accessibility across technical environments.
2. Data acquisition & analysis
Develop and maintain robust data acquisition systems to identify trends and support performance driven decision-making.
3. Maintenance support
Support maintenance teams by automating diagnostics and streamlining issue resolution processes.
4. Client support & Service delivery
Ensure responsive service delivery by troubleshooting technical issues managing support tickets and coordinating on-site technical assistance
5. System improvement & SOP formulisation
Improve operational systems and formalise standard operating procedures to enhance consistency compliance and performance.
6. Technical reporting
Create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards Translate complex data into clear actionable visuals for stakeholders at all levels.
7. Remote support
Resolve issues timely and accurately ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client confidence
Candidate Requirements: Essential:
Engineering or IT tertiary education
3-4 years Customer service engineering software or technical services experience
2 years experience handling technical support enquiries
Programming proficiency in languages such as SQL Python R and C
Algorithm development to solve complex analytics problems using programming languages such as Python R MATLAB SQL
Working knowledge in software development or coding
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques with ability to communicate complex data insights effectively
Application or interface development with SCADA IGNITION or CANARY applications
