The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales strategies and plans to achieve agreed targets. The role includes assessing market opportunities managing the local sales team to grow revenue and ensuring the team operates in line with company values.
Responsibilities

Increase Shipments Per Day (SPD) figures in line with objectives.

Plan and execute sales best practices to grow revenue.

Collaborate with Sales Finance and Operations teams to maximize growth.

Coach and monitor the sales team on achieving individual KPIs.

Conduct two coaching sessions per team member each month.

Support talent management initiatives to develop the team.

Maintain high employee engagement and motivation.

Train and coach staff on Annual Sales Priorities to achieve objectives.

Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.

Prepare ad-hoc business plans and reports.
Qualifications and Experience

BCom or relevant qualification.

6 8 years field sales experience.

Minimum 3 years management experience.

Valid drivers license.

Courier experience and knowledge of international trade advantageous.
