As the Senior Business Development Manager your responsibilities include the following:
Drive lead generation in new markets and with prospective clients
Identify client business needs and develop solutions aligned with stakeholder expectations
Present business and technical solutions with clear ROI to justify investment
Secure new business and maintain exceptional post-sales support
Lead vendor relationship management including pricing negotiations and procurement oversight
Achieve annual sales targets
Lead demand-generation for assigned products/services
Convert prospects into closed deals manage invoicing and ensure client satisfaction
Share relevant thought leadership and marketing content with clients
Advise Pricing and Decision Support teams on optimal pricing during bids and proposals
Track and report pipeline pending deals and actual sales against targets and competitors
Build new customer relationships through joint sales efforts
Collaborate across the group to unlock industry opportunities
Pursue qualified leads maintain strong client relationships and provide regular feedback
Understand business unit strategy growth revenue trends and risks
Partner with leadership to launch or retire solutions for business growth
Identify market opportunities and potential cross-unit collaborations
Drive cross-selling upselling and performance improvements across industries and services
Stay updated on operational trends and innovations
Monitor internal/external factors to manage business risks
Lead projects to boost profits or reduce risks
Maintain and promote high ethical standards in operations
Oversee service provider and partner relationships to ensure quality delivery
Assess consultant performance and report deviations for corrective action

Skills & Experience:
7-10 years of experience working as a Senior Business Development Manager
Strong Business Acumen
Entrepreneurial mindset
Qualification:
CA(SA) designation or MBA
