Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Operational Finance Manager to oversee and manage financial operations across multiple locations. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy regulatory compliance and the development of robust internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen a hands-on approach and a willingness to travel frequently within the African region.
Minimum Requirements:-
Minimum of 5 years experience in an operational finance role

Strong proficiency in financial reporting budgeting and internal controls

In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
-
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across African countries

Experience working across multinational or multi-country operations is advantageous

Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance Accounting or a related field

Lead and manage the full Operational Finance function including month-end processes and financial reporting

Prepare review and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements

Monitor and manage working capital including cash flow accounts receivable and accounts payable

Maintain and update the fixed asset register ensuring accurate capitalization and depreciation

Develop implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures

Compile and present financial reports and board packs to senior leadership

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audits and resolve any findings

Ensure full compliance with IFRS and assist with the implementation of any new reporting standards
