Our client is a top-notch logistics company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Business Planning and Development
Develop business plans for the division/department based on the company/branch strategy and market demands: market expansion plans revenue and profit targets and methods to achieve them.
Segment and prioritize target customer groups and potential markets; guide teams in building actionable plans that reflect these insights.
Develop and allocate human resources based on strategic priorities and business growth targets in key markets.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Strengthen partnerships with existing clients and proactively explore new opportunities to engage potential customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams Marketing Business Development and others to drive market outreach and sales activities.
Oversee the resolution of customer concerns and ensure a high standard of client service through structured policies and service processes.
Establish and maintain an effective customer care framework to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
Business Operations Oversight
Streamline and reinforce the sales process and post-sales customer management. Support sales staff in account development and retention strategies.
Distribute business targets to the team assist in expanding market reach implement lead generation tactics and maintain/develop profitability from existing customers.
Lead contract management processes: negotiating finalizing and ensuring compliance with agreed terms while maintaining client satisfaction.
Evaluate the business activities of the branch and propose improvements or adjustments as needed.
Report periodically on performance and coordinate closely with Operations to achieve the division s strategic targets.
Be accountable for achieving the division s business OKRs and KPIs.
Leadership & Team Development
Participate in recruitment training and performance evaluation of the Business team.
Inspire and motivate the team to exceed performance expectations through coaching recognition and ongoing development.
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to align individual efforts with the organization s long-term objectives.
At least 2 years of experience in a Business Director or equivalent position at a company/group of similar size. Minimum of 7 years working in the logistics industry.
Strong strategic thinking decisiveness and ability to develop people.
Confident in communicating in English.
Proficient in planning data analysis and performance management. Skilled in problem-solving negotiation and stakeholder communication.
Advanced skills in Excel PowerPoint and Word.
Strong interpersonal skills patience integrity discipline and resilience under pressure.
Demonstrates ownership professionalism and commitment to business success.
Embraces innovation continuous improvement and a growth mindset.
