Our client is a leading electronic company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Take the lead in establishing and managing the HR function at the Vietnam site including setting up HR systems processes and building a local HR team from scratch.
Partner closely with the Board of Directors and headquarters HR team to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business goals including organizational structure job framework training needs assessments and compensation analysis.
Drive both strategic and day-to-day HR initiatives to support the site s growth and development.
Develop and roll out comprehensive HR policies and procedures covering the full employee lifecycle: recruitment onboarding training performance evaluation compensation and exit processes.
Lead manpower planning and budgeting in collaboration with site leaders and headquarters teams.
Ensure HR practices comply with Vietnamese labor laws and local regulations.
Manage visa and work permit processes for expatriate employees particularly those from China and Taiwan.
Facilitate effective communication and cultural understanding between headquarters and local staff to strengthen collaboration and integration.
Lead recruitment efforts enhance employer branding and build strong talent pipelines to meet hiring needs.
Promote a positive employee-focused culture through engagement and experience initiatives.
Track the implementation of HR policies and proactively advise leadership on potential people-related challenges or risks.
Create and implement yearly HR plans that support the sites business objectives.
Ensure HR operations are efficient cost-effective and delivered on time with high quality.
Handle other HR tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor s degree or above in Human Resources Business Administration Law or related fields.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience (preferably in manufacturing) including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
HR certification preferred.
In-depth understanding of labor law compliance particularly in the Vietnamese context.
Fluent in Chinese and English; knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus.
Hands-on experience in overseeing HR operations driving strategic initiatives and leading change efforts across the organization.
Skilled in employee relations conflict resolution performance management and talent development.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional departments.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint; exposure to HR information systems (HRIS) and data analytics tools is preferred.
Highly detail-oriented and proactive able to thrive under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Strong cultural adaptability and team-building capabilities in cross-border settings.
