Our client is a top-notch company specialized in financial services who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
1. Management and General Operation of the Business Finance Department in accordance with assigned tasks:
Establish objectives and develop short- medium- and long-term action plans for the Department to ensure achievement of set plans and targets.
Manage operate assign tasks and effectively utilize resources within the Department to complete assigned duties aligned with available resources and scale during each period.
Issue appropriate directives and guidance to implement the Department s assigned tasks.
Timely grasp the requirements of the Bank s Executive Board evaluate the actual implementation status and make necessary adjustments compared to the initial plans (if any) during the operational process of the Divisions to enhance the Department s effectiveness.
Coordinate Department activities through soft skills organizational inspection methods and directions for professional task implementation.
Continuously research update and innovate to advise and propose the implementation of common standards/practices suitably applied to actual operations in the company.
2. Execution and Assurance of Quality and Progress in the Following Professional Tasks:
Develop policies regulations procedures and instructions for business planning establish targets and monitor and supervise business plan implementation across the entire bank and its units.
Direct and allocate business plans from overall financial and business goals to respective units.
Appraise the annual Business Plans and Investment Plans of the units.
Consolidate and evaluate the performance of business plan targets of the units.
Guide and control the formulation of internal financial management policies and procedures and set management targets for financial indicators and overall budget forecasts.
Provide direction and control over the establishment of principles for recognition of net income revenue sharing cost recognition for internal management purposes processes for constructing and managing administrative operating expenses and thresholds for expense item controls in total administrative expenses relative to net income.
Direct and control the establishment of financial targets at the group-wide level annually or for periods longer than one year for the entire company s system as required by the General Director and Board of Directors.
Develop management targets for financial business operation indicators and financial targets for Business Divisions and subsidiaries.
Set targets for managing overall bank expenses Business Divisions Non-Business Divisions at the Head Office and Business Units.
Control and monitor financial target achievements at the bank-wide level.
Monitor and supervise directional financial targets and yearly goals of business divisions and subsidiaries.
Track and evaluate expense performance of the entire bank Business Divisions and Non-Business Divisions at the Head Office and Business Units according to established expense plans.
Manage expenses prior to implementation for certain items as regulated by the company in specific periods.
Forecast overall bank operational results and financial indicators.
Conduct financial analysis reports on competitors.
Manage financial metrics related to bank valuation aligned with domestic and international market standards and practices or threshold values of interest to investors and shareholders.
3. Advise and Consult on Strategy Enhance/Improve Operational Performance and Financial Efficiency for the Bank s Executive Board and Related Units within the company Providing Early Warnings on Potential Risks that May Affect the Bank s Business Activities.
4. Human Resource Management and Development:
Conduct periodic evaluations of the work quality and performance of all officers and staff in the Department.
Resolve personnel matters within the Department (salary bonuses leaves commendations discipline etc.).
Develop train and provide professional training to build a capable and qualified team within the Department to meet job requirements.
Establish and department processes and regulations strengthen organizational and personnel structure and annually plan appropriate staffing levels aligned with the Department s operational plan.
5. Perform Other Tasks as Assigned by the Bank s Executive Board from Time to Time.
University degree or higher in fields related to Economics Finance Banking Accounting - Auditing Business Administration or related disciplines.
Preference will be given to candidates holding professional certificates/degrees in finance auditing or accounting (such as CFA ACCA CPA ACA etc.).
Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience including at least 3 years of management experience in credit institutions.
Requires English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level or equivalent (TOEFL 500 TOEIC 600 IELTS 6.0).
Proficient in using office software applications.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to apply advanced Excel functions.
