As a wiring assembler I you will be responsible for following detailed work instructions for prepping and producing wiring products in an electronic work environment. This position requires the ability to interpret schematic drawing determine appropriate assembly sequences and execute wiring component installation and cable harnessing tasks with accuracy. The position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.

Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm
What do we want to know about you
High school diploma or equivalent certification(s) or equivalent work experience.
At least one (1) year of related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of IPC-A 620 standards preferred.
Must be able to crimp terminals/contacts onto wires using manual and automated tools.
Familiar with basic hand tools such as cutters wire strippers measuring devices and heat guns.
Ability to communicate effectively demonstrate math and reading skills work with minimal direction and respond positively to feedback.
What will your typical day look like
Read and interpret assembly drawings process documentation blueprints and schematics to accurately assemble components subassemblies and final products according to detailed work instructions.
Inspect work completed to ensure compliance with established quality engineering and process standards maintaining standard cycle time and process conformance.
Determine and follow methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly tasks such as wiring component installation and cable harnessing.
Complete daily schedules based on productivity levels assigned by supervisor(s).
Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety by wearing required PPE and maintaining a clean organized work environment that adheres to 5S protocol standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Wear required PPE according to Wabtec policy.
The employee will work in a light manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to electric tools occasional loud noises and possible exposure to fumes.
