Job Description
Job Title: Junior tester
Location: AtlantaGA (Onsite - MUST be local to Metro Atlanta)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans scenarios and test cases.
- Perform testing activities for Java programs on distributed platforms.
- Execute test program changes update test files run tests review results and verify correctness against requirements.
- Work extensively with database technologies such as Postgres and DB2 including query execution and data validation.
- Use Jira to manage test activities track defects and report progress.
- Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation to support the SDLC.
- Provide clear guidance to testing teams to meet project goals and deadlines with transparency and collaboration.
- 5 years of experience in testing Java programs.
- Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres databases.
- Solid understanding of the full SDLC including test case creation execution integration testing and deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting debugging and data analysis skills.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation for both program and user levels.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and obtaining approvals.
- Familiarity with organizational processes for source code management and change migration.
- Dedication to improving software efficiency and reducing operating time.
- Java programming knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience with Kofax.
