Software Tester GUI development

We are seeking a Software Tester with hands-on experience in GUI testing for Linux-based QT/QML systems and web browser-based applications. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of our Remote Operator Station software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for QT and web applications.
• Define testing workflows in Jira (e.g. In Testing Test Complete).
• Use Zephyr with Jira for test case and cycle management.
• Review test outcomes and optimize processes based on feedback.
• Adapt testing strategies to evolving project needs.
• Present sprint results to the SW Product Owner.
• Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity Pune but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

The qualifications and experience required for the role focused on Software Testing of Graphical User Interface.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors in Electronics Computer Science or related field.
• PG Diploma in Software Testing (preferred).
• 24 years of experience in software testing

Technical Skills

• Strong in test planning functional system integration and regression testing.
• Manual testing with exposure to automation planning.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket/GIT Jenkins (CI/CD) Robot Framework.
• Experience with Squish for QT GUI automation.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile Scrum methodology.
