Part 1 :: Job Description Section A: Job Position: Job Position Foundry ME Engineer Band (M1 to M5) M1-C BU / Function Operations Level (1 to 6) Reporting to Layout Lead Location Coimbatore Jobs Reporting into NA Section B: Defining the Purpose of the Job: Purpose The role holder is responsible for capacity planning optimizing foundry operations including process improvements new facility layout design production process automation manpower optimization and layout planning. The role ensures operational efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness while complying with safety and environmental standards. Section C: Key stakeholders and their expectations: Key Stakeholders List** Key Expectations of Stakeholders Internal Production and Stores Ensure seamless integration of layouts and production processes. Quality and EHS Teams Adhere to safety and quality standards. Maintenance Teams Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs. External Vendors and Contractors Manage procurement and oversee installation or modifications. Regulatory Bodies Ensure compliance with legal and environmental norms. **: This list is indicative. Section D: Defining Result Outcomes: Key Expectations of Stakeholders Production Efficiency and Quality Control Process Optimization and Layout Planning Equipment Utilization Cost Management and Resource Utilization Capacity Planning Process Automation Compliance and Safety Management Section E: Defining Enabling Outcomes: Result Outcomes to achieve expectations Process Design and Implementation Tooling and Equipment Management New Product Introduction (NPI) Continuous Improvement and Kaizen Practices Capacity Planning Process Automation Compliance and Audit Preparedness Section F: Qualification and Experience: Desired Qualification Desired Experience Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in foundry operations layout planning and process optimization. Expertise in CAD tools casting processes and material handling systems.
