Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing / Facilities Engineer
Location: Lafayette IN Onsite
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design planning and execution of facility improvement projects ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Create and update facility and equipment layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Oversee operation maintenance and upgrades of HVAC systems mechanical utilities and building infrastructure.
  • Manage power distribution systems including electrical load analysis panel schedules and capacity planning.
  • Implement and maintain automation and controls systems for manufacturing processes and building equipment.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing maintenance and project teams to ensure facility systems support production needs.
  • Evaluate and manage vendors contractors and service providers for facility-related projects.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance planning and reliability improvements for facility equipment.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives through energy efficiency automation upgrades and process optimization.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Facilities Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for facility and equipment design.
  • Experience with HVAC mechanical systems and power distribution in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of controls and automation systems for manufacturing and facilities equipment.
  • Solid understanding of building codes OSHA standards and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
  • Project management experience for capital improvement or facility upgrade projects.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainable facility design.
