Job Description
Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency providing services to children birth-5 years old. We are seeking a full or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention services in our Developmental Toddler Group located in E. Syracuse NY. CFs are welcome to apply.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide skilled Speech-Language therapy services 1:1 with developmentally delayed children in our center-based toddler group.
Contribute to the development and follow through of Individualized Family Service Plans including developing and working towards appropriate developmental goals.
Establish and maintain parent communication and education to support carryover across settings.
Collaborate with other service providers to support IFSP goals and objectives.
Complete session notes and progress reports as required.
Collaborate with center-based Toddler Group team to plan speech and oral motor activities.
Modify and implement activities within the Toddler Group setting to facilitate speech-language development.
Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.
Qualifications:
Doctoral M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology
NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology (or CF eligible).
Must demonstrate excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload.
