Job Summary
Job Description:
- Performance Management: Developing plans to achieve cost reductions through cost structure analysis benchmark price comparisons and conducting cross-functional workshops among other activities to support the Purchasing departments objectives/goals.
- Analyzing supplier quotes and cost breakdowns (competitiveness)
- Interfacing and supporting other business-related areas (Cost Control Engineering Logistics Quality NCO Finance and others)
- Facilitating within the company to understand roadblocks escalate problems and propose solutions
- Preparing reports managing perimeters hard points and Guidelines (ARMC)
- Activities related to the MSO (Material Support Office)
- Analytical skills good communication and autonomy are key differentiators.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
- Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.
- Knowledge of Plastic Resins Adhesives and Sealants Stiffeners Fuel and Lubricants commodities will be a plus.
Software Knowledge:
- MS Office (Excel Power Point Mandatory)
- Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP.
Experience:
- Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.
Education:
- Engineering or commercial background (Administration Economics Engineering others)
Languages:
- English Advanced (Fluent will be considered a Plus)
- Spanish will be considered a plus

- Occasional business travel may be expected.
