The Information Management (IM) team within NSW Resources is looking for two Business Analysts (BAs) to consult with business stakeholders and internal technical business units; synthesising and gathering requirements that detail how business is currently conducted (as-is) and how it should be conducted (to-be) for proposed initiatives and projects as well as projects identified in the IM business plan.
Role 1: Business Analyst (Development) - 3 years full-time fixed-term contract
This role will collaborate with business SMEs system developers and other IM staff to define target outcomes gather requirements support technical designs and secure business buy-in to solutions including user acceptance testing training and technical documentation.
Role 2: Business Analyst (Projects) - 3 years full-time fixed-term contract
This role will define target outcomes gather requirements prepare business cases support prioritisation and assist to manage our portfolio pipeline. You will work with business managers and SMEs system architects external vendors your colleagues in IM and other project/initiative stakeholders.
For both roles youll be:
Youll have autonomy in making day-to-day BA decisions within projects and thus previous BA experience is required.
