Job Description
Blending Associate
Rate: $20.50/hr
Hours: 7am-5pm M-F (may require additional hours periodically including evening and weekends depending on business needs)

Compensation Tier Schedule Starting Pay:
$20.50 6-Month Rate: $21.00 1-Year Rate: $21.50 2-Year Rate: $22.50 3-Year Rate: $23.50
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing all production operations from batching to blending procedures.
- Able to effectively operate all equipment in blending room.
- Notify Quality and Safety Coordinator and or Blending Manager of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
- Perform basic sanitation functions.
- Notify Food Safety Manager or any other management personnel of ANY food safety or quality issues.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety culture and the quality of the product processes quality system or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to food safety and the quality of the raw material processes quality system or safety system by performing QA checks as assigned.
- Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety and quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Regular lifting and/or moving objects up to 10lbs; frequent lifting and/or moving objects up to 50lbs and occasional lifting and/or moving objects that weigh more than 100lbs.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Travel-minimal-less than 5% of the time.
Requirements:
- Batching and blending experience.
- Thorough understanding of all company policies including GMPs and safety policies HACCP and SQF.
- Effectively communicate.
- Able to lift 100lbs in weight.
- Ability to read write and comprehend English as needed.
- Specific vision abilities requiring close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
