Job Description
Position: Colorimetric Associate
Location: Charleston SC
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Responsibilities:
-
Utilize tools and techniques to perform comprehensive paint and coating mixing/matching based on formulas samples and customer requests.

Prepare and test color technologies/methods determine color match accuracy and make necessary adjustments.

Create custom color samples for client and internal use.

Update and maintain a database of color formulas to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Review preliminary mixtures against desired product standards (color texture finish) and adjust as needed.

Document all mixing/matching processes results and adjustments accurately.

Maintain a clean safe work environment in line with 5S principles by cleaning equipment tools and workspaces.
Role Requirements:
-
High school diploma GED or relevant work experience required.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers.

Experience with SAP software (preferred not required).
-
Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete assignments within established guidelines.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
-
Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA FMLA and other standards.
-
Regular punctual attendance is required.
-
Frequent walking standing bending kneeling lifting and reaching.
-
Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals (safety protocols must be followed).
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
-
Standing for up to 8 hours per day.
-
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
