The Seller Lifecycle Management (SLM) team within Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) focuses on knowing who were doing business with at every stage of the selling lifecycle from registering to sell in Amazons store through any significant changes that impact selling accounts. Within SLM the FIRE and BAP teams work to investigate and identify new bad actor trends getting ahead of them before customer impact.
A Business Analyst on the FIRE/BAP team utilize data analysis and business expertise to determine the efficacy of the FIRE and BAP teams initiatives ultimately helping leadership to make strategic decisions about which risk signals and actions are most impactful to minimizing abuse and preventing customer impact.
Key job responsibilities Collaborate with SLM product/tech teams on model launches and refinements Conduct complex data analysis to identify patterns the performance of various enforcement patterns Design and execute diagnostic analyses to support team goals and generate insights that inform multiple teams business decisions Apply difficult SQL transformations to analyze large datasets and create scalable solutions Optimize analytical best practices and improve business/data processes for team efficiency Partner with stakeholders across teams to share insights and shape strategic initiatives Document and communicate insights clearly to various audiences from peers to senior leadership Build out regular reporting for leadership
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience - 5 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 3 years of business or financial analysis experience - Bachelors degree or equivalent - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience with Excel - Experience with SQL - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience partnering with executive-level leaders to identifying and solving business issues
