Are you ready to create a brighter energy future as part of a passionate and purpose-driven organizationThe Energy Coalition (TEC) seeks multiple Project Coordinators (PCs) to join our Workforce Development team under TECs Marketing Education & Outreach (ME&O) department.
This role will provide administrative planning coordination and implementation support to other team members working on our workforce development activities. The PCs will support implementing the California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) program. They will be responsible for supporting as the Regional Supervisor for Climate Action Corps Fellows including coaching mentoring and coordinating with sites and Fellows. The PCs will be responsible for monthly check-ins progress tracking mentorship site visits and general administrative support. Finally this role will support developing implementing and facilitating climate action-related training facilitation and development.
One of these positions will also support the education and training team in implementing TECs Energy is Everything program offerings through educator enrollment and engagement partnership development educator recruitment events in-person lab day events and general administrative support.
Additionally the successful candidates will support the rollout of new programs and initiatives under existing and anticipated new contracts.
Provide mentorship and administrative assistance to Fellows to ensure their community service projects deliver positive outcomes and all fellowship activities are accurately documented.
Build and maintain positive relationships with Fellows project host sites and other stakeholders such as community-based organizations strategic partners and subcontractors/vendors.
Coordinate and facilitate workplace and climate action training for Fellows focused on wildfire resilience urban greening food waste recovery and professional skill development. Training is typically monthly and may be held on-site or virtually.
Effectively communicate and coordinate implementation activities with internal and external parties; tasks include developing program communications scheduling meetings and events preparing agendas and briefings and notetaking.
Assist the team in planning coordinating and facilitating in-person lab days for K-8 students in Redding Electric Utility; lab days are typically scheduled for three to four separate visits over the school year.
Oversee engagement implementation and scope related to education program enrollment and implementation team member responsibilities partnership building and educator relationships.
Develop a solid comprehension of program components and initiatives
Conduct at least one in-person site visit with each assigned host site partner
Research and synthesize educational content to apply it to training development
Research as instructed and present findings to internal staff to support program enhancements
Represent TEC initiatives with external stakeholders and partners
Explore partnership and guest speaker opportunities with other nonprofits resource providers utility providers and local government agencies
Assist in tracking reporting and analyzing metrics on the attainment of contracted goals deliverables and objectives by using tracking templates
Produce regularly scheduled updates on the progress of assigned projects
Compile report narratives and gather supporting materials
Review project documents for accuracy
Organize and maintain program documents
Strategize with Project Managers and the larger team to meet program goals and metrics
Knowledge or previous experience with an AmeriCorps Fellowship is preferred
Relevant work experience in wildfire resilience urban greening food waste recovery volunteerism and the general sustainability industry is preferred
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
Experience with public speaking events and audience engagement both in-person and online
Ability to build partnerships and relationships across diverse communities
Be engaging enthusiastic and authentic while demonstrating a genuine interest in and an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences about clean energy and related topics
Demonstrate interest in and knowledge of authentic community engagement includingcultural awareness knowledge and respect of BIPOC hard-to-reach rural and otherdemographics related to TECs mission of serving environmental justice communities
Good project management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to support various team members and complete assignments in a thorough accurate and timely manner
Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence
Ability to perform required project tasks independently
Experience with the Salesforce platform and Google Apps is preferred
Valid drivers license insurance access to a vehicle and willingness to travel to attend meetings and events
Have an active cell phone plan/service
MS Excel skills and familiarity with advanced functions are a plus (lookup tables conditional formatting etc.)
Bilingual abilities preferred (Spanish preferred but not required)

Work Environment: This position can work remotely except when business needs require in-person attendance at meetings and events at TEC offices or customer sites. Salary: This positions starting base pay range is $23.08 - $31.25/hour ($48000 - $65000 annually). This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The compensation offered will be determined by various factors including a candidates experience education training skills and certifications.
