What youll do
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Product Manager to join our this role you will play a pivotal role in our product and growth strategy as a member of the eSignature Platform this role you will work with a broad set of partners to define a multi-year strategy and lead the efforts to build the roadmap vision and priorities for supporting Docusign customers. This role requires a unique blend of strategic product management market analysis and hands-on GTM execution.
This role will deliver Docusign eSignature features relevant across our web/mobile applications and our developer audiences. You will need to turn business requirements into features usable through our UX and APIs. You will use your technical expertise to partner with engineering on infrastructure and system architecture.
Some of the features you may work on include Search Document manipulation/management multi-channel communication eSignature workflows and developer application management.
This position in an individual contributor role reporting to the Director Product Management.
Responsibility
Own strategy and roadmap for significant part of eSignature capabilities
Design and build eSignature features end-to-end from user experience for 1st party applications to APIs for 3rd party developers
Convert customer external partner and internal requests into requirements find synergies and prioritize then work with engineering to deliver
Provide thought leadership in system architecture such as search sharing workflow and event notifications
Design complex data flows business rules user flows and use cases based on customer needs
Manage inbound requests prioritize design solutions write specifications build with engineering and then ship on time
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
12 years in product management
Experience with REST APIs and developers
Technical background with ability to engage in system design with engineering
Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management Design Engineering Operations Program Management Marketing Sales and Customer Support
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent or software engineering experience
Preferred
Experience with platform architecture and distributed systems
Experience building and using telemetry to review application performance and make data-driven decisions
Experience working in cross-functional teams and ability to influence others
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $170900.00 - $251325.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
