Sony Electronics is seeking a Sales Analyst (Fixed Term) for our Home Entertainment & Sound (HES) Sales Team. This is approximately a 12-month position.
Responsibilities:
Optimize promotional and operational efforts through the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets.
Assess data-like customer metrics competitor information and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue profit and market share.
Provide advice to the sales team marketing (product managers) and executives to develop strategies to boost revenue develop promotional campaigns and sales priorities (maximize profit and revenue).
Data-driven role that requires a balance of market analysis budget management and industry expertise.
Additional Responsibilities:
Optimize promotional and operational efforts through the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets. Assess data like customer metrics competitor information and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue profit and market share.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams while providing advice and guidance to decision-makers and company leadership.
Examine monthly quarterly and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations. Additionally review market data including competitors to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts.
Create forecasts and projections showing expected sales and potential effects of new strategies (promotions placement SKU selection in store condition training floor staff relationship management and assisted selling) to aid in decision making.
Prepare reports and presentations for the sales team. These reports can include data on market performance competitor research and general sales trends.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staff

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $64213.00to $85617.00.The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the salary range does not include any benefits pension or any other compensation components that a regular full-time employee may be eligible for.
