At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.

What we need YOU to do:

The Ohio EPA wants you to join our team as a program administrator with the Office of Legal Services (OLS) at our downtown Columbus location.

We are seeking a detail-oriented multitasker to support OLSs vital programming and business functions. As program administrator youll prepare and administer budgets oversee fiscal controls and authorize expenditures. Youll manage bankruptcy and collection records and collaborate between the agency and Attorney Generals Office (AGO) to collect overdue payments owed to Ohio EPA. Youll support the Environmental Review Appeals Commission (ERAC) by tracking appeals made and coordinating document production between our offices.

Well count on your attention to detail to evaluate our records retention procedures maintain files in our Electronic Document System and monitor the agencys public notice process to ensure notices are published in a timely manner.

Youll liaise with the Office of Human Resources coordinate staffing and hiring activities develop and implement staff training and continue legal education (CLE) opportunities. Additionally your customer service skills will shine as you handle mail phone calls and visitors along with maintaining office inventory.

Support OLS business functions including fiscal controls and expenditures.

Coordinate with ERAC for appeals made.

Monitor our public notice process and assist with public records retention and requests.

Coordinate OLS hiring personnel matters and staff training.

Perform key clerical tasks.
