The Role:
The key purpose of this role is to provide maternity cover for group activities. The candidate will provide proactive fire health and safety management expertise comprehensive support and advice to our operational teams and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of health safety and fire management.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring Landsecs health safety and fire strategy is effectively implemented and managed consistently across an assigned operational portfolio. The candidate will report into the Fire Safety Director.
The candidate will be the main point of contact for all proactive and reactive fire health and safety matters within allocated area of responsibility providing competent health and safety advice guidance and support to all operational stakeholders. The candidate will be proactive in working with a wide variety of stakeholders and able to work autonomously on health safety and fire management at Landsec.

The Team:
You will be part of a H&S team reporting to Director of Fire Safety.
Location:
London based role with willingness to travel UK wide on occasion.
What you will be responsible for:
Property Management Agreements (PMAs)
Maintain a clear understanding of PMAs across Landsec
Review and update HSF processes for Retail/Leisure Residential and Strategic Land
Develop audit plans to ensure PMA compliance and HSF risk management
Build strong relationships with managing agents; ensure regular HSF audits
Attend sites within allocated areas
Lead mobilisation of new retail park PMAs (Jan 2026)
Review HSF responsibilities for legacy U&I portfolio; deliver gap analysis and compliance actions
Ensure Landsec PMA standards are applied across all portfolios
Recommend and lead PMA changes related to HSF management
Acquisitions / Disposals
Review and improve acquisition/disposal processes
Support new acquisitions and disposals
Collaborate with H&S and HSF teams to ensure smooth site mobilisation and handover
Residential Strategy
Support development of residential HSF strategy
Review PMAs monitoring reporting and site visits
Assist with resident engagement and statutory reporting
Fire Safety Support
Liaise with asset managers and agents to ensure fire safety aligns with Landsecs Fire Risk Management System
Wider Business Support
Provide proactive H&S support for new initiatives
Support HSF Managers across Workplace and Lifestyle functions
Your skills experience and qualifications:
Essential criteria
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and safety (or recognised equivalent)
Must have demonstrable experience of working in a similar health and safety role with working knowledge of fire health and safety legislation and best practice
Strong contractor management experience and knowledge of CDM
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Willingness to be based from central London location and to travel as required within London and UK wide
This is an FTC role for 12 months.
