Managing the Front of House department and ensuring operational excellence for all areas of the hotel.

Have a hands-on approach are organised and supportive of your team.
Take initiative and are reactive to situations as they arise finding suitable solutions and ensuring a positive outcome.
Are results-driven and understand what needs to be done in order to achieve the hotel goals.

Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House is a picturesque boutique hotel that occupies three buildings two of which 19th century manor houses bursting with character. The hotel is newly refurbished with a décor based on Oxford style vintage fashion.
Set amongst 3 acres of private gardens and only 2 miles from Oxford city centre Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel is a beautiful country manor in the picturesque village of Iffley. A total of 77 rooms all en-suite are divided between two buildings each with an entirely different character.
Understanding things from our guests perspective is key so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.
Qualifications :

- Experience in a similar role or Supervisor role with 2-3 years experience
- Strong leadership interpersonal and training skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to multi-task work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- A team player & builder
- A motivator & self-starter
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
